This privacy policy explains how Smart IPTV Player (the "App") for Android handles your information. In short: the App does not collect or share any personal data. Your playlists, provider logins and viewing activity stay on your device. Questions: legal@kotlinlabs.com.

The App is published on Google Play under the developer name Assraab Labs by Kotlinlabs ({{INDIVIDUAL | COMPANY}}), trading as Kotlin Labs ("we", "us"). Assraab Labs is a Kotlin Labs brand.

Scope
This policy applies to Smart IPTV Player for Android (package name com.trg.smartplayer), distributed through Google Play, and to support we provide by email. It does not cover the playlists, media services or providers you connect to the App, Google Play itself, or The Movie Database (TMDB) — each has its own privacy policy.
Summary
- Stays on your device: playlists, provider details (URLs, usernames, passwords), favorites, watch history, downloads and settings.
- Never collected: what you watch, your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or advertising IDs.
- No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.
- Never sold or shared.
Data we collect
The App does not collect personal data, and does not send any data about you or your use of the App to us. This matches the Data safety section of the App's Google Play listing:

If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in your email. We use it only to answer you (legal basis under the GDPR / UK GDPR: our legitimate interest in supporting users, Art. 6(1)(f), or taking steps at your request, Art. 6(1)(b)).
Data processed only on your device
The following information is created and stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us, and it is deleted when you clear the App's storage or uninstall it:
- Provider details: playlist URLs, server addresses, usernames and passwords
- Playlists, imported playlist files and program guide (EPG) data
- Favorites, pinned shortcuts, watch history and resume positions
- Downloaded movies and episodes
- Settings, including playback preferences and provider management
Smart IPTV Player is a media player. We do not provide, host or have access to the playlists, streams or media you open in it, and we do not track what you watch. When you play something, the App connects directly to the provider you added; that provider receives the information needed to deliver the stream (such as your IP address and the credentials you entered) under its own privacy policy.
Permissions
The App asks for the following Android permissions. You can review or revoke them at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Smart IPTV Player → Permissions.

To show poster art, ratings and descriptions, the App requests details for movies and series directly from The Movie Database (TMDB). These requests contain the title being looked up and, as with any request on the internet, your device's IP address. They do not include your name, provider details or any identifier from us. TMDB handles this information under its own privacy policy. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
The App does not include analytics, crash-reporting or advertising SDKs.
Data sharing and sale
We do not share personal data collected by the app with third parties.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising. If you email us, we may disclose that correspondence only if required by law, court order or a valid request from public authorities, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
Retention
- On-device data: until you clear the App's storage or uninstall it.
- Emails you send us: up to 12 months after your request is resolved, then deleted — unless we need them longer to handle a legal claim.
Security
Your provider details stay on your device and are never sent to us. We keep the App and its libraries up to date. Please protect your device with a screen lock: anyone who can unlock it can use the App. Whether a stream is encrypted in transit depends on your provider (for example, an http:// playlist URL is not encrypted). No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in the country where you live). These rights apply under the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR. If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law (such as the CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information. Wherever you live, you also have the rights your local data protection law gives you (for example under Brazil's LGPD or Canada's PIPEDA), and we honour them.
Because the App stores everything on your device, you can delete it yourself at any time — see how to delete your data. For emails you have sent us, contact legal@kotlinlabs.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Smart IPTV Player is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children's use of the App and of any content accessed through it.
Cookies and tracking
The App does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, analytics or cross-app tracking.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. For material changes — for example, if a future version starts collecting any data — we will update this policy and the App's Google Play Data safety section before the change takes effect.
