This policy covers kotlinlabs.com (the "Website") only. Our apps do not collect any user data; each app's privacy policy, linked from its page under Apps, explains this in detail. The only personal data we receive is what you choose to send us, through this Website's contact form or by email.
Who we are

Data we process
Contact form
When you send a message we process your name, email address, topic, the app concerned (optional), device and Android version (optional) and your message. Purpose: to answer your request. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in replying (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Submissions are not stored in a database. They are delivered as an email to our inbox via our email provider and kept only as that email, for up to 12 months after your request is resolved, then deleted — unless we need it longer to handle a legal claim. You also receive an automatic acknowledgement email.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a human. Turnstile processes technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics. It does not use cookies for advertising. See the Cloudflare privacy policy. We also limit how many messages one IP address can send per hour; the IP address is held only for that time window.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records technical access logs (IP address, date and time, requested URL, user agent, referrer) to operate and secure the Website. Legal basis: legitimate interest in security and reliability (Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are retained for up to 7 days and then deleted automatically. They are not used to identify visitors or for any other purpose.
No analytics
The Website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools of any kind.

Your theme and sound choices are stored in your browser's localStorage. They never leave your device. See the cookie & storage notice.

Providers act as processors under data processing agreements. Transfers outside the EEA/UK rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. You can also complain to a supervisory authority (in the country where you live). California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal data. Wherever you live, you also have the rights your local data protection law gives you, and we honour them.
