MP3 Quran privacy policy

Last updated:

This privacy policy explains how MP3 Quran (the "App") for Android handles your information. In short: we do not collect any personal data ourselves. Your settings and anything you save stay on your device. The App is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects limited data to show and measure those ads, as explained below. Questions: legal@kotlinlabs.com.

Who we are

The App is published on Google Play under the developer name Assraab Labs by Kotlinlabs, trading as Kotlin Labs ("we", "us"). Assraab Labs is a Kotlin Labs brand.

Privacy contact: legal@kotlinlabs.com

Scope

This policy applies to MP3 Quran for Android (package name com.trg.quran), distributed through Google Play, and to support we provide by email. It does not cover Google Play itself or other services the App links to, which have their own privacy policies.

Data processed only on your device

The following information is created and stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us, and it is deleted when you clear the App's storage or uninstall it:

  • Downloaded recitations
  • Favorites and listening position
  • Settings such as language and theme

When the App downloads content, such as recitations, city data or updates to its database, the server that provides it receives your device's IP address, as with any internet request.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob, part of Google LLC. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the data listed above and may use cookies or similar technologies. Google uses this data under its own privacy policy; see how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's advertising technologies.

Your choices:

  • Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), personalized ads are shown only with your consent, which you give or refuse in the consent message shown by the App. You can change your choice at any time from that message.
  • Advertising ID. In Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads), you can reset your advertising ID or delete it so it can no longer be used for personalized ads.
  • Ad personalization. You can manage how Google personalizes ads at myadcenter.google.com.

In-app purchases

Optional purchases in the App are made and processed through Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment details under the Google Privacy Policy; we never receive them. The App only receives confirmation from Google Play of what you bought, so it can unlock it on your devices.

Permissions

The App asks for the following Android permissions. You can review or revoke them at any time in Android Settings → Apps → MP3 Quran → Permissions.
