This page explains how to delete data associated with Golden Quran, published on Google Play under the developer name Assraab Labs by Kotlinlabs (Kotlin Labs).
Golden Quran has no user accounts, and we do not hold any personal data from it. Your settings and anything you save are stored only on your device. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects limited data for advertising; you can control that data as described below.
Delete everything stored on your device
Phone or tablet
- Open Android Settings.
- Go to Apps → Golden Quran → Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage (on some devices: Clear data).
Uninstalling Golden Quran also deletes all of its on-device data, including downloaded content.
Control advertising data (Google AdMob)
Google AdMob, not us, holds the data collected to show ads. To limit or remove it:
- Reset or delete your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads). Deleting it stops it being used for personalized ads in any app.
- Change your ad consent: where the App shows a consent message (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), you can withdraw consent to personalized ads from it at any time.
- Manage or delete data Google holds: use myadcenter.google.com and Google's privacy tools.
Delete emails you sent us
If you contacted us by email, we can delete that correspondence. Email legal@kotlinlabs.com from the same address, with the subject line "Data deletion request — Golden Quran". We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted: all on-device data (when you clear storage or uninstall) and, on request, your emails to us.
- Not held by us: we hold no other data about you, because the App does not send any to us.
- Held by Google: advertising data collected by Google AdMob, which you control with the steps above.
- Kept by Google Play: your install records, under your Google account and the Google Privacy Policy.
