This privacy policy explains how Azkar & Prayer Times (the "App") for Android handles your information. In short: we do not collect any personal data ourselves. Your settings and anything you save stay on your device. The App shows no ads and contains no analytics or advertising software, so no data about you leaves your device. The App is published on Google Play under the developer name Assraab Labs by Kotlinlabs, trading as Kotlin Labs ("we", "us"). Assraab Labs is a Kotlin Labs brand.

Scope
This policy applies to Azkar & Prayer Times for Android (package name com.trg.azkaree), distributed through Google Play, and to support we provide by email. It does not cover Google Play itself or other services the App links to, which have their own privacy policies.
Summary
- Stays on your device: your settings, favorites, bookmarks and progress, and your location or chosen city.
- Never collected by us: we have no servers that receive your data, no accounts and no analytics of our own.
- No ads, no tracking, never sold.
Data collected through the App
The app does not collect any personal data.
If you email us, we receive only what you choose to include, and use it to answer you (legal basis: taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in supporting users, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Data processed only on your device
The following information is created and stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us, and it is deleted when you clear the App's storage or uninstall it:
- Your location or chosen city, to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction
- Prayer time settings: calculation method, adjustments, adhan, reminders and silent mode
- Azkar progress
- Widget settings
Location. If you allow location access, the App uses your location on your device, for example to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. We do not receive or store it. You can deny location access and choose a city instead.
When the App downloads content, such as recitations, city data or updates to its database, the server that provides it receives your device's IP address, as with any internet request.
Permissions
The App asks for the following Android permissions. You can review or revoke them at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Azkar & Prayer Times → Permissions.

Third-party services
The app does not include third-party SDKs that process personal data.
Data sharing and sale
We do not share personal data collected by the app with third parties.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information you send us by email only if required by law, court order or a valid request from public authorities, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
Retention
- On-device data: until you clear the App's storage or uninstall it.
- Emails you send us: up to 12 months after your request is resolved, then deleted, unless we need them longer to handle a legal claim.
Security
Data sent over the network by the App is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your settings stay on your device. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in the country where you live). These rights apply under the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR. If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law (such as the CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, access, correct and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we do not sell personal information. Wherever you live, you also have the rights your local data protection law gives you, and we honour them.
We hold no personal data about you from the App. For emails you have sent us, contact legal@kotlinlabs.com. We will respond within 30 days. See also how to delete your data.
Children
Azkar & Prayer Times is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, the services it uses or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice in the App or on its Google Play listing before they take effect.
